HW #3

                                                             Rebel Against Britain !
                          Everybody rebel now. The Britain's are doing very dangerous and selfish things. They are all obsessed with the drug called Opium. The Britain's disrespected all of our governments rules. Everybody has to rebel with the Sepoy Mutiny. Everybody has to rebel.

Hw# 4

1. Opium created alot of drugs in China. The Chinese Tried to get rid of the opium and foreigners

2.  China had lost and had to give privileges to the British . The boxers got defeated too.Soon China became Republic of China.

3. Bringing Chinese society to the brink of collapse is supplying drugs to the Chinese. Britain still took the chance and traded with China. Everybody became drug addicts and rebels which fight to get rid of foreigners.

4. The Open Door Policy is a policy which was created to help other countries with equal trading rights.

Current Events

China is becoming more powerful. China is making missles with nuclear warheads. China created a system to launch missles from trucks. The system is called a Transporter-Erector-Launcher, or TEL. It Could transport DF-31 and it could become erected and shoot from the truck.

The missles also have the range to reach north-western United States. China became very powerful and rich. The didnt use drug money to buy all the armory, instead they just used the materials they already had to make the missles. So after the Opiom War China was in turmoil so they had to have more machinery.China finally became powerful enough to fight for Taiwan.

China said that publicly that they would spend $30bn this year only on its military.China's military spending is only about one-tenth of what the US is due to spend in the coming year.

1. India is 1.2 million miles.

2. The relative location is Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal

14. The Sepoy Rebellion started because they thought that the cartages had cow and pig fat but it really didn't.

16. The punishment for the people that rebelled were that they were sentenced to prison, or blown away from cannons.

Sepoy Mutiny- The British government eventually controlled the Indians.

Imperialism contributed  because the Indians were enemies with the British but later on they united with each other to help fight.

  capitalism- An economic system in which money is invested in business venture.
  utilitarianism- A philosophy in which people should judge ideas, institutions, and actions on the basis of their utilities.
  socialism-An economic system in which the factors of production are owned by the public and operate for people.
  Karl Marx- A German journalist who introduced the world to a radical type of socialism called Marxism.
 communism- A form of complete socialism in which the means of production—all land, mines, factories,     railroads, and businesses—would be owned by the people.
 union- associations which workers join to press for reform.
 collective bargaining- Negotiation between workers and their employers.
 strike- Refusal to work.

2. In capitalism, government can't make conflict with businesses. Marxism are the ideas of Karl Marx. The ideas of Marxism is that the Industrial Revolution is increasing the hardships with classes. Workers are exploited by their employers.

 3. The working conditions caused many people in the 1800s to be a past of politics. People had to join unions in order to reform. Unions would a negotiate between workers and employer, in order to get better working conditions. If the workers didnt get what they wanted then they would go on strike

4.  During the French Revolution, people wanted democracy in order to have more rights for the people. In the 1800s, Nationalists created nation-states which were occupied by people of the same ethnicity. The people fought in many wars to unify their people.

factors of production- These were the resources needed to produce goods and services that the Industrial Revolution required.

                           The Persian War killed 50,000 warriors. The city-states constantly fought with each other. The Athens eventually managed to beat the Persians in the battlefield. There was a league of city states which had 100,000 Persian warriors which led to the victory of the Persian wars. The Athens manufactured their own ships themselves which would sink other ships if they were close enough.

HW#4

1. Cannon Law was the law of the church that focused on marriage and religious practices. The Church also made courts to find people accusing the cannon law. The baddest punishment that a person would face if they disobeyed the cannon law was excommunication and interdict.

2. If a king doesn't follow the cannon law, the king would be denied salvation. It also might result in excommunication.. If the king still doesn't follow the law, the pope could use even a more frightening weapon. The pope could use the interdict.  With the interdict, many sacraments could not be performed which means the king could suffer in hell for all eternity.
